Nameserver change underway |

I just changed the nameservers. This can take a few days to take effect, when it does I can rebuild the site on the new server. I am closing the forum now, doing a database backup, and crossing my fingers and toes. We should be back online in a few days hopefully. Wish me well and if you have any questions chase me up on msn messenger

We are MOVING - AT LAST |

OK I have had it with our "hosting" company Dreamhost. Or should that be Nightmarehost? As I am sure you have too. How much downtime have we experienced lately? And when the site is up, page load times are ridiculously slow. Click a link, go make a coffee, come back, drink your coffee and it may have loaded. If not go cook dinner and it should be done by then. Enough is enough. I have had enough of the excuses and promises that things are fixed/will be fixed, and when they aren't, getting told it can't be fixed, or it is "a bit of a headache to do" that. Well we have had nearly 12 months of headaches with this company, so it is time to leave. |

We're Back Online |

eREXion is back online at last. The server machine we were on crapped itself. After contacting support they admitted we were on a problem server and wondered why we were moved to it in the first place - though it was better than the one we were on before!! The downtime most of yesterday was due to the fact they had our domain pointing to one server, and our files on a different one... handy! All fixed now and hopefully we will get better performance from this server . Thankyou for your patience. |

We have a new calendar on the site. This is for posting of events being held both by eREXion and other clubs that have invited us along. Please feel free to add any events to the calendar. You should find it quite easy to use, but if you have any problems adding an event contact me. |

To help make this site better, I am after some more member input for the home page. If there is a cruise or an event, please do a write up on it, supply some photos, tell a story! If you have written up a DIY guide, add it to the DIY section (coming as soon as we get some!) In fact anything at all to do with Subarus or eREXion can go on the site! Talk to Nige to learn how you can help make eREXion a better place to visit. |
