Saturday May 19 saw eREXion decend upon the sleepy central Tasmanian town of Campbell Town once again, for a BBQ meetup by the river.  This was the second such event, so it is looking set to become an annual event!

Scoota, Phez, Crellis, QSHIP, Bluesteel, Bruno, Subarugirl and Fabsio met at the usual city carpark and Azenis met up with the crew en route at Maccas Sorell, due to the fact that baby Lucas needed a feed and held things up a tad.  After being shown "what for" by a local in a black Holden Ute, we made our way off towards the east coast, then taking Bluesteel and Fabsios secret hidden mystery road that took us thru valleys filled with farms and interesting old abandonments.  Even an ostrich or two was spotted by the keen eyed as we made our way back towards the Midlands Highway.  Fabsio was a bit keen and sent us all a "turn left here" message on the UHF, sending us to a dirt road.

Wrong turn go back!

Try the next left Fabsio!

Eventually we arrived in Oatlands where a pitstop was requested by the girls.  While waiting for their return, we stood watching in amazement as if we had seen a ghost... a black Holden ute showing off in front of us, screeching around the corner.  Deja Vu!

Back on the road again, past a speed camera hiding between bushes, not at all raising revenue, we eventually made it to Campbell Town, where Raz, RSTim and BAGSIT were waiting.  BBQ was cooked, food was eaten, good times were had!  Thanks to Bruno for buying everyone chips!

Raz and RSTim left after a while and then the weather started to get truely crap so we all packed up and went home. A good day was had by all, some nice roads travelled on the way up and great company, shame the same can't be said about the weather.

Looking forward to the next event!
